The Naples Chapter is involved in the community - that of Naples and Collier County as a whole - in many exciting and educational ways. Not only do we engage in public ceremonies, but we give out hundreds of dollars in award scholarships each year.
Every year the Chapter awards a JROTC student from each of Collier County's seven public schools with a commendation medal, uniform ribbon, and certificate of Achievement. These cadets are selected by their instructors based on their class participation and leadership capabilities.
One of our premier events is the annual Chapter Public Service Awards Ceremony. This is the Chapter's opportunity to recognize outstanding service & performance of local Law Enforcement/First Responders.
The Naples Chapter invites all Eagle Scouts interested in the American Revolution to participate in the Arthur M. & Berdena King Eagle Scout Contest. The contest is open to all Eagle Scouts who are currently registered in an active unit and, except as provided in the paragraph below, have not reached their nineteenth birthday during the year of application. The year that the Eagle rank was awarded is not restricted.
The Naples Chapter annually holds an oration contest to select a candidate for the state contest with the winner receiving a monetary reward. The winner of the state competition advances to the national level to compete for college scholarships.
